Round 3 Getting Ready to Kick-Off

As we are now less than a month out, it’s exciting to hear how things are progressing with the USDA Reconnect Program. More than 250 applications have already been submitted and applicant’s still have until Feb 22nd to submit. Further, it looks like there will be additional rounds to follow and not just next year but possibly subsequent rounds still this year. This is exciting for rural America as more and more fiber will be going into connecting schools, hospitals, community facilities and most of all homes in rural parts of the US. I’m excited that the requirements for this round are not just 25x3 connectivity but 100 symmetrical which means that this effort really is aimed at providing high-speed connectivity. This is a huge move especially when we look at the data requirements or precision agriculture and remote education. Every day we see announcements of states and local governments adding to the investment needed for the 22nd Century. I’m very excited Eleven Bravo will be part of this going forward and looking forward to a very busy year!
